Monty Li is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Harbin Institute of Technology. He is a Changjiang Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education, a Leading Talent for Technological Innovation under the National 10,000‑Talents Program, and a key expert for national defense science & technology programs. He serves as Director of the International Joint Research Center for Advanced Composite Materials, and is recognized as a Leading Young and Middle‑Aged Innovator by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

With 11 years of industry‑oriented R&D experience, he joins SRNC as Chief Scientist. His research covers advanced composite materials, functional thin‑film coating, material formula development and vacuum‑technology fundamental studies. He leads frontier research, resolves core material bottlenecks, and drives lab‑scale achievements toward commercial engineering implementation for SRNC’s coating product portfolio.
